N.B. :
(1) Running in period for new or reconditioned engines being 1000 km, at the end of which period, engine oil and the engine oil filter should be replaced.
(2) Engine oil viscosity grade should be suitable to the engine type, operation distance and climate conditions.
(3) Above mentioned oil replacement periods are for recommended for standard operating conditions. It may be widely vary with the quality of lubricant, type and make of vehicle, engine load conditions, usage, terrain, climate and atmospheric conditions.
(4) In the case of manual Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)  exchange, only 60% fluid exchange is possible. As for 100% fluid exchange, use of an ATF exchanger is recommended.
(5) In the above table where both operation distance and service time interval are given, the figure whichever reaches first should be taken.
(6) Generally, it is prudent to exchange oil/fluid, once discoloration is observed.
(7) In order to ensure the system free of impurities, it is a good practice to change the relevant filter whenever oil/fluid is exchanged.
(8) Always adhere to the instructions given by the vehicle and lubricant manufacturers.
